I've been besotted by this mini-series. I think it's quite superb - the acting, the costumes, interpretation, sets and last but not least, the music! I've managed to record almost the entire series and have watched it constantly over the last two years! I dread the day my Sky box fails as there is no way to copy onto another medium and I don't thing it's available on dvd at all.

I am also intrigued by the dubbing as it's mostly like it's not been dubbed at all, the spoken words match the lip synch wonderfully well. Not distracting at all!

I also discovered that this is part of a series of Biblical miniseries written by Vivian de Oliveira and directed by Alexandre Avancini. Before that came Queen Esther, Samson and King David, all in the same excellent standard. Apparently there is one other but I've yet to find it.
