Overview

"Friday's Wives," a classic 1980s drama, coined the catchphrase "Kintsuma" (golden wife) and sparked a social phenomenon known as "Kintsuma Syndrome." It depicts the human drama that unfolds among three couples of the baby boomer generation who live in terraced houses and detached houses in a new town on the outskirts of Tokyo. The family, whose foundation is the smallest connection between husband and wife, faces pitfalls...
