Emily lives in Banff, Alberta, Canada with her family and dog named Douglas Fur. Emily enjoys competing in Kyokushin karate where she has obtained her blue belt with a stripe. She also enjoys hiking and backcountry camping in addition, road and mountain cycling, bikepacking. During the winter months, she is an avid downhill skier in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
