Shirong Wu was born in 1993 in Xi'an, China. Her family's relocation to Australia led to her scholarship at Kilvington Girls Grammar School. At 17, she self-funded a year in Europe post-graduation. Back in Australia, she pursued acting at the 16th Street Acting Studio, subsequently making her mark with the Sydney Theatre Company. Noteworthy is her portrayal as "Xiao" in "WHITE PEARL." Recently, Wu transitioned to the screen, landing the lead role in "APPETITE," a TV mini-series, as well as in the award-winning short film "SWEET JUICES."
