Sanoop made his acting debut in Philips and theMonkey Pen, a 2013 Malayalam language children's film. He played the role of Ryan Philip, a naughty little 5th grade kid, who had an inherent aversion to mathematics and his subsequent adventures and eventual self-realisation, with the help of a magical pen called Monkey Pen.
