Overview

1995, São Paulo. Following the deployment of the Plano Real, Liz, 13, is sent to Ireland by her newly middle class parents on an exchange programme. From her point of view the trip is a complete failure. Liz comes back to Brazil distressed and obsessive. In the following years she develops an alimentary disorder which limits her life in all areas. How to overcome this tough reality?
