Overview

The film mainly tells the Kashin-Beck disease prevention and control team, represented by Yin Peipu, an orthopedic expert at Xi’an Jiaotong University, has taken root in the ward for more than half a century. Through long-term investigations and research with the same team, they put forward the disease prevention concept of “eating miscellaneous food, improving water, and stressing hygiene”. It also established a disease prevention school to combine prevention and treatment, with the local people to eliminate Kashin-Beck disease, and through a series of high-quality medical resources, services and contributions, to help Kashin-Beck disease patients get rid of the legendary story of disease and poverty
