Ultra Violet (2005)

Ungu Violet, Rako Prijanto’s directorial debut, presents an interesting yet unoriginal story that struggles to leave a lasting impact due to uneven execution and weak chemistry among the cast. While the plot is systematic, the pacing feels disjointed, and several logical inconsistencies and forced twists detract from the overall experience. Despite decent acting from a notable cast, the film falls short in delivering a cohesive and compelling narrative, though it remains watchable for those seeking clear storytelling.
