When an air stewardess checks into an hotel, she discovers that a mysterious man clad in black can do more than deliver the "Milk Tray", and she ends up dead... The plot thickens when her colleague "Sue" (Ann Bell) arrives in the same hotel to discover that the murdered woman was impersonating her - and so she could have been the real target? Scared, hysterical even, she sets out to try and get to the bottom of things before the killer has another go... It's quite nicely shot - Sicily looks glorious - but the rest of it is overly reliant on the star, and she is dreadful. To be fair to her, her acting is only a little worse than the really pedestrian script and she is largely unsupported by a seriously mediocre collection of male talent: Anthony Bate, Bruce Boa and even the usually reliable Conrad Phillips just fail to get to grips with this weak story. Maybe the assassin had read the script, and wanted to put her out of her misery at the first possible moment - that would have worked for me...
