First time I've seen Jackie Chan in a non-Western film. Conclusion? Need to watch more of those!
'Crime Story' is an entertaining 107 or so minutes, as I had a feeling it would be in truth - Chan is usually a fun watch, after all. Admittedly, this 1993 release is more drama than comedy, which is obviously fitting given it's based upon a real life incident.
The fight/stunt scenes are naturally the film's major selling point, but I also enjoyed those onscreen and the score - which comes strong at the end and across the subsequent credits. Chan is good value throughout, though I also rate Kent Cheng's performance in this too - he suited his character well.
Lastly, a little tid-bit about this flick that I found interesting: Some of the climax was shot at the (then deserted, obvs) Kowloon Walled City, prior to its demolition.
