Overview

Pressured into strict classical music studies, Vakarė, a teenager, attempts to break free from a controlling mother and find self-identity. Vakarė secretly begins to search for self-expression and freedom, both in her everyday choices and in her relationships with her father and new acquaintances. A newly met strange worldview and symbolic objects nudge Vakarė to question her desires and true nature. A skilled pianist facing strong expectations, Vakarė reveals her independent voice.
