If you're into dark, slow-burn thrillers with a true crime vibe, The Company We Keep is worth checking out. Cary Mark is seriously intense as Carter, a guy trying to rebuild his life after prison—until he finds a missing girl hiding in his bedroom, and things spiral fast.

The story’s creepy, emotional, and keeps you guessing, with Eric Roberts adding some veteran cool to the mix. Inspired by real-life serial killer Ed Kemper, this one leans more into mood and character than action, but it sticks with you. Definitely not your average crime drama.
